Redeemer Youth

Redeemer Youth Group meets in Calvin Hall, Room E212 for grades 7-12; during the school year on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. for games, lesson, prayer, snacks, etc.

Nate Esbenshade will continue to serve as Interim Youth Director for this rest of this school year. Nate has been a member at Redeemer since last fall.  He is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic (West Palm Beach, Fla.) and Hillsdale College (Hillsdale, Mich.).  Nate has a heart for discipling and equipping teens.  This is evident in his vocation as an Upper School Teacher at the Valor North Austin campus, where he teaches 6th, 8th, and 10th grade history.  Nate and his wife Kaitlyn are both excited to serve Redeemer this year.  While Nate will oversee Sunday evening Youth Group, Kaitlyn will be supporting him in connecting with our teen girls on Sunday evenings and assisting Nate in correspondence with families.

Three Children’s Choirs – Preschool through Grade 6

The children’s choirs meet from 6 to 7:10 p.m. during school year months. Our directors work to help children learn to sing well and to participate in divine worship with understanding and joy. This is an opportunity for kids to take a leadership role in the service and learn more about the liturgical tradition of the church. They will also acquire music skills that will bless them and their churches through adulthood. If you have any questions about children’s choir, please contact Grace Einkauf (geinkauf@redeemerpres.org).

Adult Study: All adults are welcome to join us for fellowship and study!

This spring Pastors Danny and Jon will be leading our discussion on the topic of The Beatitudes & Christ’s Calling to the Blessed Life.  This class is designed to foster group discussion and engagement.  We will continue meeting in Room 206 in Calvin Hall from 6:00-7:00 beginning on January 14 and continuing through the month of April.

The Beatitudes & Christ’s Calling to the Blessed Life

We all are looking for happiness through a truly blessed life.  We look for it through our jobs, in our homes, in our relationships with one another, and in our travels,  But how does God define the blessed life?  In the opening of the Sermon on the Mount, Christ unfolds for his disciples what the blessed life looks like, and by implication how he forms the blessed life in the citizens of his kingdom. Come and enjoy light refreshments each Sunday evening as we discuss God’s work and will in forming in us a truly blessed life.
