Liberated to Love - Often in Christian circles we can think about Christian maturity as something super spiritual. As if what it means to be Godly and mature is to be detached from the world and quote the bible every other sentence. But really it’s much more mundane than that. It means that you are more concerned about the needs of others around you than you are about the needs of yourself. Galatians 5:1-15.
Free in Christ is our summer sermon series on the Book of Galatians. This letter is probably the first that Paul wrote, and is among the earliest books of the New Testament. It foreshadows the conflict in Acts 15 at the Jerusalem Council. It also shows a range of emotions for the Apostle Paul, who is incredulous at heretical developments in the churches he planted in what is now south-central Turkey.
