As part of Redeemer’s ongoing missions and mercy ministry to the city of Austin, in the Month of July we will be collecting school supplies for children and teens living at M Station. These are our neighbors who live right behind Redeemer and attend local schools, many of which also benefit from M Stations’ various services, including their daily after-school program. Our goal is to collect supplies for 51 children’s backpacks and 18 teen’s backpacks. Supply lists can be found for each in the corresponding hyperlink or on these Amazon Wishlists: Elementary and Teen.
This is a great opportunity for families to bring their children into generous and missional service, involving them in the purchasing and choosing of supplies. If possible, we are asking families to purchase the entire set of supplies needed for one complete set, including a backpack, and drop it off on Sundays in July in the Narthex. Backpacks can be filled with supplies. Are you able to purchase supplies for at least one child or teen?
