The Heart of Texas Pregnancy Resource Center (HTPRC) serves women and couples facing unplanned pregnancies in the East Austin community and the growing community around Dripping Springs. They offer positive solutions concerning unexpected pregnancies and share God’s grace with those in need. Every program and service at HTPRC is provided to clients free of charge. These services include: pregnancy tests, parenting and life skills classes, Baby Boutique, maternity clothes, and support groups for moms. In addition, the organization provides referrals for adoption services, medical services, Medicaid and WIC assistance, abortion recovery, and housing assistance.

Debi Wehmeier, HTPRC founder and executive director, says, “We endeavor to portray the love of Christ in all we do. God has moved in mighty ways since we opened our doors at 12th and Chicon 11 years ago. Five years ago, we outgrew that space and it was very clear that God was moving us to the St. Johns area. At the same time we opened our second location in Dripping Springs, and we are currently looking for space in Kyle!”

Ways to Get Involved
– Donate your time in the Baby Boutique
– Become a client advocate
– Teach a parenting or life skills class
– Volunteer to provide office support
– Invest in their mission by becoming a financial partner

Debi continues, “We are so thrilled that we have been able to help moms, dads and babies over 21,000 times in the last 11 years! We do not take state funding so that we are free to pray and share the gospel. We count on the body of Christ to come alongside us in this mighty and blessed Kingdom work! Our budget is over $600,000 and we are so grateful that God has been so faithful through the years as this is truly his ministry.”

Please pray!
– That they will continue to seek God’s will each day with all decisions they make.
– For continued support for financial needs.
– For spiritual protection over clients, staff, board, and volunteers.
