This Fall at Redeemer we are launching a new initiative: micro-groups. These micro-groups will consist of smaller gatherings at homes throughout the city that will allow us to resume the in-person fellowship we previously enjoyed in our small group ministry while still abiding by the local rules and regulations surrounding social gatherings.
To form these micro-groups, existing small groups will be divided into smaller groups with two to three facilitators. These facilitators will reach out to others within their existing groups and to those who have not yet been involved in a small group. If you’ve been looking for some place to connect, here it is! This will also be a wonderful opportunity to invite neighbors, friends, colleagues and others to join us as well. Our micro-groups will be working through a twelve-lesson Ligonier Ministries study on the book of Job, with video lectures from Dr. Derek W.H. Thomas. A study guide will be provided, and the facilitators will lead the conversation and organize a time for prayer and fellowship.
We are very excited about this opportunity to grow in faith together and we hope that you’ll join us! If you haven’t previously been a part of our small group ministry and would like to get connected to a micro-group, or if you’d like more information about this new initiative, please reach out to Andrew Waller at andrewhwaller@gmail.com.
