To our friends in the Austin Community,
In light of the recent outbreak of COVID-19 and the governmental measures imposed in Austin to lessen the likelihood of its spread, Redeemer has decided to suspend our regular Sunday worship services until future notice. We will also be suspending all other regular gatherings and events at our church facility. We realize this is difficult not only for our worshiping community, but also to the many groups who utilize our building for school, music events, and other meetings. Our hope is that these measures will help serve our neighbors by limiting the spread of this virus and ensuring the health of our neighborhood and local community.
That said, we will continue to seek to fulfill our mission as a church, even through these uncertain times, in the following ways:

  • Our staff counselors will continue to remain available for counseling by appointment. You may contact them directly at ebrisola@redeemerpres.org or srmealer@redeemerpres.org
  • Our pastors will be sending out a weekly guide for families and individuals to help guide them in worship during the suspension of our services. If you are not on our email list and would like to receive a PDF copy of that worship guide, please email cwaller@redeemerpres.org to sign up.
  • We will continue to explore creative ways to connect with people during this time. If you would like to stay up to date as our ministry develops, please follow us on social media. Facebook Twitter Instagram
  • If community members become aware of ways our church can assist Austin residents (while still abiding by local government directives) please direct them to Associate Pastor Bryce Waller (bwaller@redeemerpres.org).

Thank you for your understanding. We encourage you to pray with us for all those affected by this situation, and for God’s protection and care of his world.
