2 Timothy 2:14-19
In his closing letter to Timothy, Paul encourages his young disciple to “do his best to present himself to God as one approved” and contrasts marks of an approved workman with the conduct and examples of unapproved workmen of God. This Sunday, in light of Paul’s instructions to Timothy, we will explore how to become a workman approved by God by discerning the values that the Holy Spirit is cultivating in us so that we might live under God’s pleasure as laborers in his kingdom.
