2 Timothy 4:1-8
As Paul approaches death, he unpacks his ultimate and final charge to Timothy, "Preach the word! " Paul knows the success of the second generation of Christians would depend in part upon their own commitment to perpetuate the ministry of the word. This Sunday we will explore the nature and purpose of preaching as described by Paul to Timothy and discern how we can continue the ministry of preaching in our souls that we might perpetuate the ministry of the gospel today.
