Genesis 44-45
This week, we return to the story of Joseph and his brothers. We left them in Genesis 43 at the end of a party. The brothers still did not know Joseph, but their experience of him was gracious and joyful. A new day dawns in Genesis 44 and Joseph puts his brothers to the final test. Throughout the verses that follow, the power of words is on display: Judah’s words, Joseph’s words, and Jacob’s words. Join us this Sunday as we reach the climax of the Joseph story and hear words of confession, absolution, and resolution from a family finally at peace.
