Genesis 42
Nearly 20 years after Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers, we find them bowing before him and begging for their lives—not because they know who Joseph is, but because they are now in a position of need: they have come to Egypt to buy bread. The dramatic exchange between the brothers and Joseph (who they do not recognize) is instructive for us as we consider the ways that sin impacts families, victims, and perpetrators. Join us this Sunday as we discover the real answer to the problem of sin in Genesis 42.
