Acts 2:1-21
This Sunday is Pentecost, the day we remember the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the infant church just fifty days after Christ’s resurrection from the dead. Pentecost is God’s promise that even though Jesus has ascended into heaven where he rules and reigns at the Father’s right hand, God is still with us—even more, he is “in” us! What does the presence of God in our lives look like? Why has God poured out his Spirit on his people? Those are the questions we’ll tackle this Sunday as we celebrate Pentecost Sunday!
