Psalm 80:1-7
While the rest of the world rushes headlong into the “Christmas season,” we pause and slowly make our way through Advent—a period of waiting and expectation. Like the ancient Israelites who waited and longed for the Messiah, we wait and long for Christ’s second coming. From Psalm 80, we borrow the repeated prayer of Israel that God would return to us and turn us in repentance and faith back to him.
