Genesis 34:1-31
Justice for Dinah?
Dinah—Jacob’s daughter by Leah—is probably 14 or 15 when she is abducted and assaulted by the Shechem. This story, told in Genesis 34, is a low point for the family of Abraham and though difficult to read in our #metoo era, it is important for Christians to come to terms with the lessons it teaches and the cliff-hangers that won’t be resolved until the New Creation. Join us this Sunday as we consider Genesis 34, as ask if there can be justice for Dinah.
