Step Two, Part Two - Grow Together - We’re in the middle of a short sermon series on the three most important steps each one of us must take in order to be faithful disciples of Jesus: gather, grow, and give. Last week, Pastor Bryce introduced us to step two, grow, by showing us how Paul in Colossians 3 is concerned for our sanctification. This week, we ground our growth in our gathered identity as the people of God. Unfortunately, American evangelicalism has convinced many of us that our relationship with God is primarily a private issue. But Paul in Colossians 3 reminds us that even our sanctification, our growth, has a public side. So, how can the church assist you in your growth? What mechanisms are available to ensure that we grow up together as the body of Christ? Join us this Sunday as we continue to look at step two and our responsibility to grow together.
