In Your Face - Our understanding of the gospel needs to be validated by God’s word, not by what someone else tells you or adds to it or takes away from it. For all of those who have trusted in Christ we need to see the gospel worked out in the world. We need to the see the gospel of grace in the life of the church as we worship God together, as we serve one another, and as we serve the world around us. Galatians 2:1-14.
Free in Christ is our summer sermon series on the Book of Galatians. This letter is probably the first that Paul wrote, and is among the earliest books of the New Testament. It foreshadows the conflict in Acts 15 at the Jerusalem Council. It also shows a range of emotions for the Apostle Paul, who is incredulous at heretical developments in the churches he planted in what is now south-central Turkey.
